Founded at the same time as the town in the 12th century, Notre-Dame Church was remodelled in the 15th and 16th centuries. Three bays were removed from the nave but it was extended with chapels. Notre-Dame houses an exceptional collection of statues. Some of them, made of stone, come from the School of Verneuil and date back to the 15th century, others, from the 13th century are sculpted in polychrome wood.

The Church also boasts beautiful 19th century stained-glass windows and contemporary art works made by Maurice Denis, Georges Desvallières and Christian Chenard.
