At the dam in Poses, you can see migrating fish travelling up the river Seine to go and reproduce in freshwater or become adults (eels). Through windows below the water level, you can observe the pools that allow the fish to move over the dam, the first obstacle on the river Seine when coming from the sea. Atlantic salmon, sea trout, sea lampreys, alosa and eels, here are some migratory fish that have travelled thousands of kilometres. But there are also more common and sedentary species such as common bream, common roach, common bleak and common barbel.
