In Giverny, near Claude Monet's famous gardens, immerse yourself in the history of Impressionism.

A must-see in Normandy, this museum will tell you all about Impressionism, a revolutionary artistic movement that challenged conventions. It focuses on its history, its origins, its geographic diversity and its development into other art movements. It deals with Impressionist artists, as well as with the forerunners of the movement and its heirs from the end of the 19th century to today. Every year, there are two or three major exhibitions. The museum also holds concerts, workshops for children and adults, etc.

Beside the self-guided or guided tours, the museum also organises events and activities: children's activity book, guided tours and workshops for children, adult workshops, concerts and lectures, etc.
